- Professional associations very often create a sense of identity and purpose within their membership by publishing a journal, website, or newsletter. As a process to help develop the Panglima Laot network as well as a mechanism to collect and deliver the news and the information fishermen need, we developed a fishermen’s website. Recognizing not all the fishermen have access to the Internet, the project has also developed a Fisherman’s Newsletter.
